Job summary

Capital One in McLean, VA seeks a Senior Manager, Project Management to drive strategy and execute high-priority HR projects across the enterprise. You will partner with HR leaders to design executive meeting agendas and craft data-backed insights for senior leadership decisions.

You will influence governance, roadmap alignment, and organizational health while driving cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This role exposes you to AI-enabled processes and strategic operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in Strategic Operations, Project Management, Management Consulting, HR Strategy, Chief of Staff, HRBP role or combination.
• At least 1 year of experience in roadmap alignment, governance structures, and change management.
• At least 3 years of experience working with senior stakeholders across different business functions.
• At least 3 years of experience writing communications and presentations for leadership and non-leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

• Executive Governance & Decision Support: Drive the operating rhythm of the HR Senior Leadership Team with agendas that drive outcomes.
• Strategy Architecture: Help draft and evolve multi-year HR strategy and align across the enterprise.
• Organizational Health & Reporting: Define metrics and own reporting on objectives and org health.
• High-Stakes Communications: Draft communications for executive forums and synthesize complex discussions into actionable outcomes.
• Culture Advocacy: Design initiatives to foster engagement and performance within the Strategic Operations team and HR.
• AI Enablement & Process Innovation: Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools into operations workflows.
