Job summary

NAES seeks a Business Operations Project Analyst to manage project coordination, accounts receivable, and proposal management across energy projects. You’ll collaborate with project teams, business development, finance, operations, and clients to ensure timely billing and accurate proposals.

Responsibilities include data analysis, CRM maintenance in Dynamics, and supporting monthly close. A relevant bachelor’s degree and 5 years in project administration and billing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, project management or related field.
• Five years of experience in project coordination, project administration, accounts receivable, proposal coordination.
• Experience with accounts receivable processes, invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Experience coordinating proposals and managing proposal schedules/deliverables.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including opportunity management and reporting.
• Experience building reports/dashboards in Power BI.
• Familiarity with project cost tracking and revenue recognition.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis to Project Managers in planning, execution, and closeout of projects.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, variances, and risks; recommend actions.
• Coordinate project communications between stakeholders and clients.
• Track milestones and assist with financial reporting.
• Analyze project data to support forecasting.
• Maintain accurate project records and supporting documentation.
• Guide staff on coding accuracy and documentation.
• Prepare and submit accurate client invoices; track payments and aging.
• Monitor collections and resolve billing discrepancies with clients and PMs.
• Support monthly close activities and CRM-driven reporting.
• Manage proposals, qualifications, and client presentations; track deadlines.
• Maintain proposal templates and materials; assist with CRM inputs.
• Generate CRM reports/dashboards for leadership.
• Provide customer/administrative support and contract/billing assistance.
