Job summary

Worley is seeking a Principal Project Planner to lead scheduling across complex projects in the energy and resources sector. Based in the Baton Rouge area, you will provide strategic planning, scheduling leadership, and project controls expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

You will guide development and integration of schedules, mentor planning staff, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related discipline.
• Significant experience in project planning, scheduling, controls or delivery within energy/chemicals/resources.
• Experience on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects across the lifecycle.
• Recognized as a planning and scheduling specialist with technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and assurance of integrated project schedules.
• Coordinate planning activities to ensure alignment with objectives and customer requirements.
• Provide expert guidance for forecasting, progress measurement, and reporting.
• Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Mentor and coach planning personnel and support workforce development.
• Support planning standards, tools, and best practices across projects.
