LZ Technology is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support NASA’s Artemis and Moon Base initiatives from Webster, TX. You will build, maintain, and analyze technical schedules for Government Furnished Equipment delivery, collaborating with NASA leads, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

The role requires strong Microsoft Project skills, rigorous schedule risk analysis, and clear reporting of milestones and progress to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project scheduling or controls experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with logic-driven schedules, milestones, and critical-path analysis.
  • Strong communication of schedule information to technical staff and leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage technical project schedules for NASA programs.
  • Support teams delivering Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to Artemis and Moon Base programs.
  • Collaborate with NASA leads, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain schedules.
  • Build new schedules and maintain existing ones throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop integrated schedules based on lifecycle events, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Ensure schedules have complete network logic and clear critical paths.
  • Analyze schedules to identify risks, drivers, and milestones.
  • Track schedule performance against milestones and commitments.
  • Develop customized schedule reports and status information for reviews.
  • Identify schedule risks, constraints, and potential delays before they impact milestones.
  • Assess impacts from changes in cost, requirements, or baselines.
  • Develop and recommend schedule workarounds and recovery plans.
  • Present schedule status and metrics in meetings and reviews.
  • Support integration of cost and schedule information for feasibility.
  • Coordinate with activity owners to obtain status and validate data.
  • Promote standardization and continuous improvement of scheduling tools and processes across the branch and division.
