Job summary

Barrios Technology is seeking a Technical Project Scheduler III to support Human Spaceflight and Exploration initiatives. The candidate will coordinate with technical leads and project management to develop and maintain technical schedules, perform risk assessments, and produce status metrics.

A BS/BA plus 10 years of experience, excellent communication, and strong MS Office/Primavera MS Project skills are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university with 10 years of applicable experience.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) interfacing with customers.
• Ability to work in a team and independently on a dynamic development program.
• Strong data gathering, attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter, highly motivated with initiative and minimal direction.
• Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Advanced MS Excel understanding.
• Ability to create and analyze integrated master schedules (IMS).

Responsibilities

• Support a highly skilled project team contributing to Human Spaceflight and Exploration.
• Coordinate with technical leads and project management to develop and maintain technical schedules.
• Conduct schedule analysis and ensure networks have proper logic and critical path visibility.
• Provide guidance on schedule recovery plans and decision making.
• Perform Schedule Risk Assessments and advise NASA management.
• Track schedule progress and develop reports/metrics.
• Attend project meetings and present schedule status/metrics.
• Assess impacts of changes to cost, schedule, or baselines.
• Perform other duties as required.
