Job summary

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks a civilian project management support professional to aid scheduling, control and execution of assigned projects.

You will help create the Project Management Plan showing scope, baselines, and costs for activities to deliver the project to the local sponsor. You will prepare a range of reports for status reviews, briefings, data validation and information requests, coordinating with the Project Manager, Delivery Team and Sponsor to resolve issues and keep

Qualifications

  • Experience operating automated information systems to manage scheduling or resources.
  • Ability to analyze scheduling issues and recommend schedule/cost changes.
  • Specialized federal experience at or above GS-11 level preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support project management, control, coordination and execution of assigned projects.
  • Establish a project task listing to accomplish execution within cost and time limits.
  • Assist the Project Manager to create and maintain the Project Management Plan with scope, schedule and cost.
  • Prepare project management reports for status reviews and briefings.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and Local Sponsor on schedule and issues.
  • Develop and present reports and fact sheets from District elements and sponsors.
