Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Federal team supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. You will deliver program management services, drive client relationships, and guide project proposals, budgets, and schedules.

You will lead project execution to meet scope, schedule, and quality, mentor junior staff, and travel as required. A Bachelor’s degree and PMI/CCM/DBIA certification are required within 12 months, with preference for federal experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 10 years of related experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on workload and project demands.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Military facilities planning experience preferred.
• Experience with federal agencies, preferably USACE.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of project delivery and business development.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management services for a growing military development program.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage project execution, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams to meet client expectations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and address concerns during execution.
• Mentor and develop junior staff.
