Job summary

The George E. Booth Co., LLC in Indiana is seeking a Project Pursuit Manager to identify, pursue, and secure high-value projects across IN, OH, and KY. This full-time role blends project management with strategic business development and requires travel.

You will lead pursuit strategies, manage client meetings, draft estimates, and collaborate with sales and operations to win bids while navigating fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or 3-5 years' work experience in a similar field/industry.
• Project Pursuit and project development skills.
• 3+ years of successful experience working with asales team or rep organization.
• Direct sales experience within a comparable industry.
• Valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Spearheading the identification and pursuit of lucrative projects.
• Orchestrating negotiations to successful closure.
• Crafting and implementing innovative project pursuit strategies.
• Drive planning and approach for curation/development of pursuit projects and resources aligned with current leadership sales strategies.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques.
• Participate in select client sales meetings and proposal writing process.
• Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates.
• Participate in owner contract negotiations.
• Assist with and/or manage design aspects of assigned projects.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risk.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Provide accurate forecasting using available resources and tools.
