Job summary

Hadrian is seeking a Procurement Manager, Direct to own strategy and execution for externally manufactured supply chain. You will drive RFQ through PO delivery, maintaining cost, quality, and schedule targets while building durable supplier relationships.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with buyers, supplier quality, and operations to optimize KPIs and negotiate effectively. This role supports rapid growth in advanced manufacturing capabilities and helps ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement/sourcing, with exposure to CNC machining or complex supply chains.
• Experience negotiating large value contracts and managing supplier performance.
• Ability to analyze quality, cost, and schedule trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own the supplier selection and sourcing strategy for externally manufactured requirements.
• Coordinate across buyers, coordinators, supplier quality, and internal factory ops.
• Manage KPIs and take actions to improve SLA, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Develop long-term strategies for cost-down initiatives, quality improvements, and capacity planning.
• Escalate negotiations and resolve issues during order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and government regulations.
• Present supply base health and risks to leadership.
• Create and evolve SOPs; partner with product/software teams to improve tools.
• Review specifications for manufacturability and provide supplier feedback.
• Collaborate with quoting teams on make-vs-buy decisions for parts.
