Job summary

Duravant is seeking an Experienced Project Specialist in Downers Grove, IL to support project execution through financial coordination, procurement support, and data analysis. You will work across project management, engineering, procurement, finance, manufacturing, and operations to maintain accurate project and financial data and to provide reporting that supports decision-making.

The role requires ERP literacy, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and a proactive approach to improving processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in project coordination, project operations, procurement, financial analysis, or supply chain.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and project costing.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel (data analysis, lookups, pivot tables).
• Experience with Power BI reports/dashboards for business analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support project business processes including sales orders, vendor POs, invoices, receipts, change orders, and other ERP transactions.
• Review project budgets and documentation to ensure costs and financials are reflected in ERP systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support purchasing activities and PO processing.
• Analyze project financial and operational data to identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards showing project financial performance, backlog, revenue, and shipping schedules.
• Reconcile purchase orders, sales orders, and budgets to improve data accuracy and revenue timing.
• Support project turnover and execution by reviewing information, gating criteria, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to maintain accurate project information and resolve issues.
• Prepare reports for recurring reviews and track actions through to closure.
