Job summary

NorthWestern Energy in Montana is seeking a Project Manager to lead major initiatives within the Project Management Office. You will provide planning, structure, and coordination across engineering, construction, and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of programs and portfolios.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, project management experience, and the ability to obtain PM certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Equivalent years of experience in project management.
• PM certification or ability to obtain one preferred.
• Experience with project management principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all requirements of the Project Management Policy.
• Ensure objectives meet scope, quality, schedule and cost for programs and portfolios.
• Review and maintain project performance and take corrective actions.
• Plan, direct and set priorities with project teams to ensure timely task completion.
• Occasional travel up to 25% and field exposure; requires lifting up to 25 pounds.
