Job summary

NorthWestern Energy in Great Falls, MT, seeks a seasoned supervisor to plan, coordinate and oversee maintenance and large project scopes at Hydro Generation facilities. You will direct maintenance crews, ensure quality work, and enforce safety and bargaining agreement requirements under supervision.

The role demands advanced planning, scheduling, budgeting and forecasting, with close collaboration across engineering, operations and reliability teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industrial plant operations and maintenance.
• 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Power generation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and/or assist with management of maintenance crews; ensure safe, on-time completion of work.
• Plan and schedule maintenance and large projects with milestones, costs and materials.
• Manage budgets, cost controls, and schedules; oversee progress and reporting.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations and vendors; ensure quality control of assembly and testing.
• Support safety initiatives, risk assessments, and job safety analyses; promote a safety-first culture.
• Be on-call as required and maintain reliable attendance.
