Job summary

Champro Sports is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to lead and support strategic initiatives, covering IT/software, product creation, and process improvement projects. You will work closely with the existing PMO and business process team to scale the EPMO governance standards during a pivotal growth phase.

The role requires a proactive, servant-leader mindset with 5+ years of experience, PMP and Agile awareness, and strong communication skills to drive alignment across stakeholders in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required.
• PMP and an Agile certification are highly desirable and the successful candidate will be required to obtain both PMP and a relevant Agile certification within the first 12 months of employment.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project management with a track record of leading complex projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing a diverse project portfolio including IT/software development, product creation, and process improvement projects.
• Strong leadership with a servant-leader philosophy to motivate and guide project teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to achieve business objectives.
• Ability to analyze tradeoffs, evaluate options under uncertainty, and recommend a path forward.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with a work management platform (Smartsheet, monday.com, Wrike) and collaboration suites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle for assigned projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, objectives, and deliverables, and oversee execution.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with contingency plans.
• Develop and manage project budgets and report variances.
• Allocate and manage resources to optimize project performance.
• Proactively communicate with stakeholders including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Provide servant leadership and support to project teams, removing obstacles.
• Coach teams on governance standards and build capability to self-manage over time.
• Support development and standardization of PM processes, templates, and tools.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports and KPIs to leadership.
