Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Manager to support the AFNCR IT Services program at Joint Base Andrews, MD. You will coordinate with customers, other PMs, and support staff to prioritize, plan, organize, train, and manage resources to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s with experience), an active DoD Secret clearance, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of Project Management and PMO functions.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships and networks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent customer-facing, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar tool.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage small and medium projects.
• Integrate all functions and activities to meet client requirements.
• Present project information to customer, leadership and peers.
• Create project management plans and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Define scope, objectives, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Ensure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed and approved.
• Deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Monitor dependencies and project milestones.
• Create breakdown structure for deliverables.
• Provide high-quality written and verbal communications, including weekly status and dashboards.
• Monitor and manage project tasks and timelines.
