Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Project Manager to lead internal projects and client engagements across the firm. You will plan, coordinate, monitor, and support delivery, acting as a central point of contact for teams, leaders, and clients to ensure objectives, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables are managed transparently.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of project management experience in a professional services environment.
• Experience developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, RAID logs, action trackers, and executive updates.
• Experience managing budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and monitors detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, workstreams, dependencies, deliverables, and resource needs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinates project execution from initiation through close with clear roles, responsibilities, decision points, communication routines, and expectations.
• Tracks project tasks and deliverables to promote timely completion, accountability, and visibility into project progress.
• Supports project budget management by monitoring budget-to-actual performance, resource utilization, engagement economics, and potential scope or pricing considerations.
• Helps teams apply project management practices that support quality, timely delivery, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.
• Serves as a primary project management contact for assigned projects, escalating risks, issues, and changes as needed.
• Prepares and distributes project communications, meeting agendas, notes, status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Facilitates internal and external project meetings and maintains relationships with engagement teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Tracks and monitors realization of project objectives and business outcomes after implementation.
