Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Management Consulting Senior Manager to lead and grow the HR consulting practice. You will plan, organize, and develop business, bring in clients, supervise staff, and maintain strategic relationships with market partners.

In this role you will drive mission and vision, oversee full lifecycle HR engagements, guide policy development, and implement talent management tools to measure performance and potential across client organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or Psychology, required.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Ten (10) or more years of human resources or related generalist experience including employee relations consulting, recruitment, organizational development, basics of compensation and benefits.
• Five (5) or more years of supervisory experience, preferred.
• Exposure to employment and labor law, required.

Responsibilities

• Leads Business Development activities and the overall growth of the practice.
• Directs all Management Consulting programs and practices, including policy development & Employee Relations.
• Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures.
• Develops and maintains client’s HR department policies to ensure legal compliance and effective utilization of HR resources.
• Works one-on-one with the clients’ Directors to assess recruiting needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Annually reviews and makes recommendations to clients’ Executive Management for improvement of policies and practices.
• Delivers strategic HR consulting to business clients.
• Manages the delivery and acceptance of core HR processes across client areas.
• Partners with clients’ core HR functions on exempt and non-exempt issues.
• Owns the strategy and execution of key HR processes across client areas.
