Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead repair capability deployment projects within the Aftermarket Services business. The role entails planning, budgeting, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver capital equipment deployments and related programs.

You will drive cost and schedule performance and collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience working with matrixed and cross functional teams or having prior leadership experience.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft tools (Excel, Word and Power Point).

Responsibilities

• Works on multiple and complex technical assignments that require expertise in resource management, risk management, and project management.
• Accountable for the successful implementation of multiple projects and may manage up to $3M-$5M in capital investments.
• Collects, analyzes, and submits capital cost and schedule inputs into the SFP and AOP planning process.
• Researches, prepares, and processes eCARs for new or replacement equipment and capabilities.
• Develops project plans specifying charter, scope, schedule, cost, resources, and risk mitigation.
