UL Solutions, a global leader in applied safety science, seeks a seasoned project manager to drive small to medium initiatives from initiation through delivery. You will lead project teams, manage risks, communicate with sponsors, and ensure governance while coordinating with business units and finance for ROI and IRR analyses.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration, proactive problem solving, and adherence to UL's Code of Conduct and security practices across a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related fields.
• Strong project management and team leadership skills.
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools (Excel, Visio, MS Project, Clarity, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sponsor reporting and escalation experience.
• Strong facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment.
• Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
• In depth understanding of project management concepts.

Responsabilités

• Managing the implementation of small to medium projects.
• Provides overall leadership and support to project team members.
• Acts as front-line contact on project related activities, issues, and risks.
• Manages the project risks and issues and escalates accordingly.
• Interfaces with Business Unit Leaders, and with Finance and develops ROI, IRR and other financial measures.
• Manages stakeholders' communication and escalates accordingly.
• Adheres to program and project governance (controls).
• Plans the overall project and monitors the progress and performs Daily project management throughout the project's life cycle.
• Manages the projects budget and financial performance.
• Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies.
• Manages and utilizes resources.
• Aligns the deliverables (outputs) to the project's outcome with the aid of the business change manager.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs other duties as directed.
