Apex Systems in Denver is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to lead a complex, multi-vendor upgrade of a probation case management system. You will drive lifecycle activities, governance, and stakeholder alignment across 23 judicial districts, ensuring compliance and a smooth go-live.

The role requires 10+ years in PM with at least 5 years on large tech implementations, strong change management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; years of experience may substitute for degree
• 10 years of progressively responsible project management experience, including 5+ years leading complex technology implementations
• Experience leading multi-year schedules and enterprise system replacement with data migration and change management
• Preferred: PMP, PgMP or equivalent certifications; Agile and Waterfall methodologies; public sector experience

Responsabilités

• Lead full project lifecycle from requirements to go-live and decommissioning
• Develop and maintain master schedule, budget, scope baseline, and benefits realization plan
• Coordinate procurement and vendor evaluation under state rules
• Ensure compliance with statutes and justice system directives
• Engage diverse stakeholders across 23 judicial districts
• Lead change management, training, and communications for go-live
• Report status, risks, and outcomes to leadership
