Job summary

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is seeking a Project Manager II to lead complex, cross-functional projects that advance the Museum's mission and strategic priorities. This role works across departments, partnering with leaders, contractors, designers, and technologists to guide projects from concept to completion while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

You will develop project schedules, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and manage schedule and budget impacts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of project management experience coordinating, administering, and monitoring complex projects.
• Experience developing and managing project plans, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partners with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and measures of success.
• Develops and maintains complex project plans, schedules, budgets, and communication plans.
• Manages project-related contracts, vendor relationships, and RFP processes.
• Communicates project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Delivers outstanding customer service and serves as a collaborative partner across the Museum.
