Job summary

Colorado College's Museum at the FAC seeks a Director & Chief Curator to provide visionary leadership for curatorial programs, collections stewardship, and staff management. Qualifications

Senior museum leadership experience with a track record of strategy and operations.
Experience in collections stewardship, NAGPRA, and donor relations.
Ability to teach or work within an academic environment.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and operational leadership for the museum department, including strategic planning and budgeting.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate museum staff and set goals across curatorial, collections, and exhibitions.
Oversee operations and annual budget in collaboration with budget managers.
Serve on the FAC senior leadership team to guide campus-wide priorities.
Direct a robust exhibition program and ensure alignment with curricular goals.
