Job summary

Amrize Building Envelope in Nashville is seeking a Project Cost Engineer to lead cost control, budgeting and forecasting across projects. You will manage cash flow, prepare cost estimates and oversee change management to ensure timely funding and accurate reporting.

The role requires 5–7 years in a sophisticated corporate environment with project costing experience, proficiency in Procore and MS Office, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelora0dachelora0 degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in a sophisticated corporate environment.
• Job costing or construction accounting experience required.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Create a Cost-Controlling Report and reporting system for approval.
• Prepare reports based on design and/or construction cost estimates and provide updates at regular intervals.
• Monitor and control the application of funds for project cash flow, cost analysis, variation orders, payments and other major financial factors.
• Recommend changes to the construction contract whenever a change appears to be necessary.
• Prepare cost estimates, review drawings and specs, and estimate additional performance time that may be required.
• Verify consultant advice with timely recommendations after consultation with the Project Team.
• Manage the budget and reporting process.
• Manage, control and report on the Original budget with changes and potential changes.
• Prepare, monitor and control planned vs. actual expenditures and create visual reports.
