Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Project Cost Engineer to manage cost control, budgeting and cash flow for key projects across North America. The role focuses on cost analysis, reporting, and timely funding forecasts to support project decisions.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and 5–7 years of experience in a corporate setting, with construction accounting and Procore experience highly preferred. Occasional travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; field of study in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management or related.
• 5–7 years of experience in a sophisticated corporate environment.
• Job costing or construction accounting experience required.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Procore or similar project management software; strong MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site meetings and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Create cost-controlling reports and a reporting system for project approval.
• Prepare cost estimates based on designs or construction drawings and provide updates at intervals.
• Monitor project cash flow and cost analysis; manage approved funds and future needs.
• Recommend changes to contracts when necessary and negotiate cost/time implications.
• Prepare, review and compare budgets, expenditures and commitments with changes.
• Coordinate with Accounting and Finance to ensure efficient cash flow for projects.
