Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist the Project Manager in budgeting and scheduling for construction projects. The role focuses on safety, schedule adherence, profitability, and customer satisfaction, working with the project team to develop and maintain the overall schedule.

The candidate will communicate the project plan to customers and Barnhart superintendents, manage changes, and support cost-saving initiatives while coordinating with engineers, vendors, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or sufficient experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience coordinating projects or construction projects.
• Proficient in scheduling and budgeting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in maintaining budgets and schedules.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and ensure deadlines are met.
• Maintain project communications with customer and Barnhart team.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities to adhere to budget.
• Coordinate work crews and equipment as needed on sites.
• Develop and maintain the overall project schedule; identify critical path items.
• Communicate project status including risks, quality, safety and scope changes.
• Travel to customer sites as required and manage field leadership relationships.
• Provide feedback to improve project management processes and team support.
