Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager in budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder collaboration. You will help ensure safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction while developing and maintaining the overall project schedule and communicating plans to customers and field leadership.

Responsibilities include onboarding new projects, monitoring expenses, coordinating crews and equipment, and maintaining clear status updates.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects.
• Ability to maintain schedules and communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong math and geometry understanding.
• Leadership, communication, and planning skills.
• Familiarity with engineering plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Complete onboarding and training as required.
• Coordinate projects with the project team to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Attend customer site visits to understand project scope and risks.
• Implement the project plan and maintain communication with customer and team.
• Monitor expenses and seek cost-saving measures.
• Interact with customers, engineers, vendors, and others as needed.
• Develop and maintain the overall project schedule and critical path.
• Identify schedule risks and collaborate on solutions.
• Communicate project status, risk, quality and safety regularly.
• Coordinate work crews and schedule equipment as required.
• Provide feedback to improve the project management process.
