Job summary

Muscatine Power and Water is seeking a professional coordinator to support Power the Future initiatives. You will organize information, prepare materials, and coordinate cross-functional activities across generation operations and major capital projects.

This role contributes to MPW's long‑term strategy by supporting a balanced, sustainable energy portfolio while maintaining reliable operation of existing facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of administrative experience, utility experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in coordination, analysis, communications, and/or project support in technical/operational/regulatory environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across multiple project portfolios and support staff meetings.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies across construction and compliance work.
• Maintain organized systems for project documentation and records.
• Prepare executive presentations, reports, and materials for external engagements.
• Create executive communication materials aligned with MPW Strategic Plan.
• Ensure consistent communication across departments on Power the Future initiatives.
