Job summary

Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) seeks a Project Controls Specialist to provide essential support in managing critical projects at Hanford. You will handle planning, scheduling, and reporting to aid sound project decisions.

This role progresses from entry to senior levels with expanding scope. Entry requires a BS/BA in business-related fields and 1 year of experience; higher levels demand 5+ and 8+ years respectively.

Qualifications

• For all levels: ability to obtain and maintain a PIV credential badge.

Responsibilities

• Provide project controls support across CAMs and managers to define scope and work plans.
• Forecast spend plans, analyze costs, and manage corrections with CAMs.
• Develop and maintain detailed P6 schedules according to industry best practices.
• Prepare variance explanations and corrective action plans with CAMs.
• Prepare change control documents including Baseline Change Requests (BCR).
• Support other Schedulers and Analysts with project controls tasks.
• Coordinate with risk analysts to provide risk-informed cost and schedule estimates.
