Job summary

Fleet Data Centers seeks a Project Controls Manager to own end-to-end scope, budget, and schedule across large multi-phase data center programs, protecting MW delivery and commercial commitments.

You will lead change governance, intake, impact assessment, approvals, and baseline management while coordinating with PMs, TPMs, contractors, and vendors. Hybrid work, Seattle-based with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure, data centers, or large capital projects.
• 3+ years directly managing change, contracts, or commercial/project controls.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, change orders, and extensions of time (EOT).
• Experience working with Project Controls (cost & schedule) to quantify change impacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present change impacts to leadership and customers.
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the change management framework for data center projects from identification through approval.
• Define and maintain procedures, templates, and workflows for changes (GC, vendor, customer-driven).
• Coordinate with stakeholders to assess scope, budget, and schedule impacts.
• Lead DoA-aligned approvals and maintain audit-ready change records.
• Serve as main point of contact for change discussions with customer engineering and internal teams.
• Maintain a consolidated change log and report volumes, values, and risks.
• Drive post-mortem reviews and continuous improvement through lessons learned.
