Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Project Controls Manager to own the end-to-end change governance for large, multi-phase data center programs. You will manage budgets, schedules, and baselines while coordinating with PMs, TPMs, designers, and vendors to assess impacts and drive timely decisions.

This role requires 7+ years in capital projects, strong contract knowledge, and excellent communication. Hybrid work in Austin, TX with flexible locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure, data centers, or large capital projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and change orders (EOT).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong documentation skills.
• Experience with Project Controls (cost & schedule) to quantify change impacts.

Responsibilities

• Own the change governance framework for multi-phase data center programs, from intake to baseline.
• Coordinate with PMs/TPMs, contractors, designers and vendors to assess change impacts.
• Prepare change packages with assumptions, alternatives, and risk implications.
• Facilitate change review forums with leadership, finance, and customer counterparts.
• Maintain audit-ready change records and baselines.
• Provide transparent change summaries for customer engineering and executive reporting.
