Job summary

Matrix Project Services seeks a Sr. Project Controls Analyst to develop and maintain project controls across projects, aligning with departmental standards for cost, schedule, and reporting.

The role reports to the Project Controls Manager and requires travel to project sites as needed, with per diem per policy. Responsibilities include Earned Value reporting, cost coding coordination, schedule updates, and supporting monthly/quarterly reviews.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of construction cost control experience preferred.
• 4 year degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Ability to interpret contract terms and exhibits for project requirements.
• Background in Heavy Process Industrial Engineering, Procurement & Construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports safety and Core Values.
• Represent the Company with high moral standards and ethics.
• Collaborate with project management to ensure alignment with cost, progress and schedule analysis.
• Review and consolidate Earned Value Progress and Performance reporting for ENG, procurement and construction.
• Coordinate project cost coding for all purchases and timekeeping codes.
• Interface with estimating to validate basis and assumptions.
• Assist in developing project schedule updates and resource analysis.
• Support monthly/quarterly project reviews and reporting.
• Participate in project revenue recognition and ensure compliance with processes.
• Perform field audits on progress, actuals, commitments, EAC forecasts and variances.
