Job summary

Icm Inc is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to manage cost and schedule controls across assigned projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and finance to ensure integrated data and informed decision-making.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with ERP systems and reporting tools. This position is based in Kansas and reports to the Senior Project Controller.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in project controls, cost control, scheduling, or a related project-based environment.
• Working knowledge of cost tracking, forecasting, schedule development and updating, progress measurement, variance analysis, change control, and project reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or comparable ERP/project accounting systems; familiarity with Power BI, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience in engineering, fabrication, construction, industrial services, manufacturing, renewable fuels, energy, infrastructure, or similar complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project cost controls and baselines, track budgets, commitments, actual costs, accruals, contingency, margin, and EAC; reconcile data.
• Maintain and update project schedules and baselines; perform logic reviews, progress updates, milestone tracking, critical path analysis, lookaheads, and recovery planning.
• Integrate cost and schedule performance to provide a consistent view of status and outcomes.
• Analyze performance and variances using trend analysis, earned value concepts, and variance reviews to identify issues and support action.
• Prepare monthly cost and schedule updates and support project status review meetings.
• Document changes, risks, resource impacts, and actions; maintain risk registers and action items.
