Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to collaborate with PMs, PAs, and leadership to ensure profitable execution of buildings projects. The role focuses on earned value management, ISO 9001 compliance, and effective financial monitoring across programs.

You will support schedule and budget tracking, develop work plans, and assist with change orders and subcontractor coordination. This position requires a strong accounting foundation and analytical mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in project accounting and profitability within a corporate structure.
• Ability to read and act on contract requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to synthesize data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and database reporting.
• Attention to documentation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge of Oracle Project BI Dashboard, IPM, and PURS tools and PM framework.
• Support Work Breakdown Structure development for project execution and monitoring.
• Assist with work plan implementation and schedule/resource analysis.
• Assist with contract preparation and insurance certificate requests when needed.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on agreements, changes, and budgets.
• Assist in tracking change orders and client invoicing requirements.
• Review time and expenses charged to projects and adjust as needed.
• Support monthly financial reports and communicate billing plans to Project Accountants.
