Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project controlling or financial analysis experience.
• Experience with SOX compliance; prior exposure to a publicly traded company.
• Master’s or professional certification (CPA, CMA, PMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, and actuals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and analyze monthly project financial reports, including variance analysis and cost-to-complete projections.
• Develop ROI models for plant CAPEX projects to support investment decisions and post-project evaluations.
• Track CIP (Construction in Progress) and ensure capitalization aligns with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial alignment with goals and timelines.
• Track and report KPIs and project milestones.
• Support proposal development with cost estimation and financial modeling.
• Ensure internal controls and SOX compliance; assist audits related to project finances.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies; maintain project documentation.
• Partner with plant managers and other leaders on financial performance.
