Job summary

Subsurface Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Project Controller within the Operations group to manage cost, schedule, forecasting, and performance controls for multiple projects. You will collaborate with field teams, Finance, Procurement, Estimating, and the Project Controls Manager to protect margins and deliver projects on budget.

The role emphasizes earned value, variance analysis, and timely reporting to support informed decisions and risk management in a mining-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, construction management, project management, engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in project controls, cost control, scheduling, or related discipline.
• Experience in mining, heavy civil construction, or project-based industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project budgets from bid to execution.
• Analyze cost variances and forecast accuracy; identify corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly project performance reports with variances and trends.
• Coordinate with Finance for accruals, month-end close, and revenue recognition inputs.
• Maintain cost-forecasting models (EAC and ETC).
