Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a dynamic professional to drive hyperscale and data center account success in Optical Communications. You will coordinate with Customer Operations, PLM, Supply Chain and Manufacturing on large projects, ensuring timely delivery and detailed documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes account growth, prospecting new opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships across global accounts. Periodic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Corning products and markets.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to target, coordinate and prioritize key customers, projects and tasks.
• Self-disciplined with meticulous, organized time and account management skills.
• Consultative communication, probes for information and shapes customer discussion.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with assigned accounts to meet project delivery schedules.
• Maximize the sales of Corning Optical Communications products.
• Provide support to GAMs and regional Sales Engineers.
• Engage services of PLM, Customer Operations, Supply Chain and Marketing as appropriate.
• Attend and coordinate customer meetings to review project metrics.
• Forecast major projects for PLM and Supply Chain.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and project data.
