Job summary

Corning Inc. in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Product Line Specialist to own the strategy, performance, and evolution of a key portfolio at the intersection of product management, commercial strategy, and customer engagement.

You will lead the full lifecycle from development to commercialization, set pricing, align supply and demand, and act as Voice of Customer in cross-functional teams. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a product through full development and commercialization cycles.
• Ability to develop and execute pricing strategies (base, contract, project-level).
• Experience in customer-facing or VOC engagements, translating insights into strategy.
• Proficiency in complex data analysis and financial modeling using Excel or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead product line strategy execution by integrating market insights, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Own the full product lifecycle from development and launch through pricing, supply-demand alignment, and commercialization.
• Serve as primary VOC expert in customer engagements; translate needs into product priorities.
• Identify opportunities for new applications and enhancements through market analysis and collaboration with Market Development and Technology teams.
• Lead resolution of product, quality, and service issues balancing customer and internal priorities to drive timely outcomes.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing and sites; quantify value propositions and assess risks.
