Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly experienced Manager Programs Level 3 in West Virginia to lead a portfolio of defense programs. You will manage cross-functional teams, ensure performance on cost and schedule, and maintain customer intimacy to support value creation while upholding contract terms.

The role requires a DoD clearance eligibility, strong leadership, and a track record in proposal planning and program growth. Relocation could be considered; travel is 25%+

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with many years of government contract/project management experience.
• Experience leading performance of tasks on schedule, cost and requirements.
• Strong leadership and proposal management capabilities.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance and work with DoD customers.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate customer relationships and opportunities within the customer community.
• Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams to meet cost, schedule and technical goals.
• Coordinate preparation of proposals, budgets and contract terms.
• Establish and manage program baselines and resources.
• Direct risk and opportunity management and report performance to leadership.
• Deliver presentations to customers and executive management; negotiate terms.
