Job summary
Amgen Ohio is seeking a Strategic Planning and Operations Manager to lead site business cases across product lifecycle, capital projects, and digital initiatives. You will collaborate with OSBR, GOLs, PDTs, Finance, and other functions to drive end-to-end portfolio strategy and value realization.
The role requires executive presence, strong communication, and a track record in program management within a global environment.
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master’s with PM/Operations/Business experience
- Bachelor’s with PM/Operations/Business experience
- Experience managing programs or project portfolios
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead business cases for the site portfolio (product lifecycle, continuous improvement, digital tech, capital projects).
- Represent AOH with multiple functions to ensure holistic impact assessments.
- Manage all aspects of business cases including planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Establish standards for work quality and quantity; prioritize critical tasks.
- Develop tools and processes to support informed decision making.
- Engage with senior leaders to obtain input on benefits, needs, and issues.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with guidelines.
- Support cross-functional collaboration and change management.
