Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Executive Director, Global Site Study Operations, Americas, to lead regional study and site operations across the Americas. You will provide enterprise-level strategic direction, oversee trials, and shape site engagement strategies with cross-functional influence.

You will build high-performing teams, ensure timely, compliant delivery, and guide monitoring approaches while championing innovation and efficiency across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level or higher in life sciences with global site study experience.
• Advanced degree in life sciences with leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's with significant managerial experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership for Americas study operations across trials Phases I–IV.
• Shape site engagement, monitoring strategies, and governance in the region.
• Oversee budget, resource allocation, and vendor performance for studies.
• Develop country/head teams and foster accountability and innovation.
• Ensure inspection readiness and regulatory compliance across regions.
• Lead through change, drive digital solutions and standardization.

Education
