Jobtailor is seeking a senior strategic marketing leader in San Francisco to partner with the Sr. Director of Marketing Strategy & Insights. The role shapes priorities, crafts executive communications, and steers leadership forums.

You will own the operating rhythm for critical marketing processes while ensuring governance structures drive decisions, trade-offs, and rapid execution. Leverage data to reveal trends, gaps, and growth opportunities for executive teams.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or marketing strategy.
• Experience in large, matrixed organizations with cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized with excellent project management and prioritization skills.
• Comfortable managing up, across, and down with strong communication and influence.
• Proficiency with collaboration and planning tools, including Workfront, SharePoint, and Excel.
• Proactive, meticulous, and solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and calm to chaos.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Sr. Director of Marketing Strategy & Insights
• Shape strategic priorities, executive communications, and leadership forums
• Lead the operating rhythm for key marketing processes
• Ensure executive forums and governance structures drive decisions, resolve trade-offs, and accelerate execution
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and internal business dynamics to anticipate strategic risks and opportunities
• Manage organizational governance, decision-making frameworks, prioritization processes, and accountability models
• Partner across business units, global teams, and external partners to align with enterprise priorities
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for executive decision‑making
• Identify business trends, performance gaps, and growth opportunities and recommend strategies
• Develop executive presentations, board materials, and leadership communications
