Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Programs to design and lead high-impact programs that differentiate us with health plans and other stakeholders. You will own program design, build partnerships, and drive revenue growth within Cardinal Health at-Home Solutions.

The role requires strategic thinking, project management, and excellent collaboration across Health Plan Sales, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Operations, with a focus on labs, biomarkers and wearable technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 8-12 years of experience, preferred
• Direct experience working for or with health plans
• Experience in strategy development, business case design, and/or project management
• Experience in B2B or direct-to-consumer program offerings, specifically within the labs and diagnostics realm preferred
• Experience in managing external partnerships or strategic customer relationships in healthcare industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Leverages market dynamics to develop strategic positioning and business cases for program offerings
• Applies strong interpersonal skills, strategic mindset, market expertise, and financial and business acumen to inform program design and execution
• Fosters key relationships with external partners who are critical to overall program design and execution; informs design of partnership approach and corresponding agreements
• Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders including Health Plan Sales, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and other teams within the Cardinal Health enterprise to gain internal alignment and gather information necessary to execute on programs
• Leads and owns execution of programs in partnership with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Works with leadership and peers to define the build out of program performance tracking and analytics reports and dashboards
• Attends industry events to stay abreast of market developments, liaise with partners, and assess new opportunities.
