Job summary

YMCA of Greenville is seeking a Senior Director of Programs to guide two or more departments with strategic leadership, ensuring safe, high-quality, mission‑aligned programs. You will develop staff, drive collaboration, and translate branch priorities into measurable outcomes.

Lead program directors, manage budgets and performance, and partner with leaders to strengthen participant experience and community impact. This is a senior, mission-driven role within a growing nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in recreation, education, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in YMCA programs, recreation, youth development, aquatics, wellness, sports, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience leading managers or program leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and coordinated leadership for two or more program departments or service areas.
• Translate strategy and community needs into annual program goals and measurable outcomes.
• Establish performance indicators for participation, revenue, quality, and satisfaction.
