Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Programs, Communications and Engagement Manager to lead a portfolio of departmental programs, communications, events, and strategic initiatives supporting the academic mission. You will partner with departmental leadership to engage faculty, students, alumni, donors, and external stakeholders.

The role requires managing cross‑functional projects, integrating AI workflows, and improving program effectiveness across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of progressively responsible experience in academic administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal grants and funding programs from launch through reporting.
• Coordinate communications and outreach with faculty, staff, and external partners.
• Plan and execute events and academic programming.
• Oversee the Department’s predoctoral research program administration.
