Job summary

Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences is seeking a Programs, Communications and Engagement Manager to oversee a portfolio of departmental programs, communications, events, and strategic initiatives that advance the academic mission.

Reporting to the Director of Administration, you will partner with faculty, students, alumni, donors, and central offices to ensure high-impact programs, effective operations, and the integration of AI workflows into daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in academic administration.
• Experience with website content management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal grant and funding programs from launch through reporting.
• Lead departmental communications and outreach activities.
• Plan events, conferences, and academic programming.
• Coordinate predoctoral program administration and onboarding.
• Integrate AI workflows to improve processes.
