Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP seeks a Corporate Strategy Support Manager based in Findlay, Ohio to coordinate strategic initiatives across the S&BD organization. You will lead a small team, manage confidential materials, and drive executive communications for Board-level discussions and strategy sessions.

You will design board materials, oversee KRI updates, and partner with senior leaders to translate complex topics into clear, actionable messages. Strong PM and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Law, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in Refining, midstream, commercial, communications or other relevant fields; 1-2 years leading teams preferred
• Strong communication, project management, drive for results, and collaboration skills required
• Strong executive presence and ability to deliver clear, compelling presentations to executive leadership required

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of materials for the annual MPC and MPLX Board of Directors Strategy Sessions.
• Coordinate S&B D contributions for Board of Directors meetings, translating complex business topics into crisp, impactful messages and presentations.
• Manage quarterly S&BD Key Risk Indicator (KRI) updates.
• Serve as Program Manager for MPC Commercial Skills, a nomination-based professional development course.
• Lead planning and execution of strategic internal and external events, including town halls, team meetings, networking events, and university engagement programs.
• Lead and develop a team responsible for mapping and visualization services, The Wire business intelligence newsletter, S&BD communications and SharePoint content, Board, executive, and S&BD presentation support, and program coordination.
