Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst – Level 2 in Redondo Beach, CA. The role focuses on detailed scheduling, resource and cost analysis across multiple programs, interfacing with cross-functional teams and leadership to keep projects on track.

You will develop the Integrated Master Schedule, implement industry scheduling practices, and support IBR/JSR audits. A Top Secret clearance is required, with opportunities in a major defense space program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling, OR Master’s degree with 1+ years of experience.
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience with scheduling software (e.g., MS Project 2016, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone, Deltek, SSI Tools).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis for multiple programs and contracts.
• Make recommendations to solve problems, create presentations, and present to leadership.
• Interface with functional and supplier teams as well as the Program/Project Manager.
• Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet program objectives.
• Implement scheduling best practices including DCMA 14-point, IPMR DI-MGMT-81861, EVMS, Critical Path, SRA, and health metrics.
• Provide weekly status and reporting.
• Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR).
• Other duties as assigned.
