Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Program Analyst / Program Operations Manager to help manage day-to-day program obligations within SOMA's Program Services Operations Group. You’ll support engineers, scientists, and business professionals to deliver high‑quality sponsor materials on time.

The role covers project operations, administration, logistics, proposal development, and program finances.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field.
• 2+ years coordinating multiple business, operational, and administrative aspects of project execution.
• Proficiency in analysis of program milestones and deliverables.
• Develops schedules and contractual deliverables; prioritizes, tracks, and updates program data.
• Strong written and oral communication with sponsors and staff.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Able to work full-time onsite at JHU/APL or sponsor site.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Mansioni

• Set priorities with PMs/PjMs to manage from initiation to closure and develop SOPs to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and organize information for internal/external reviews; coordinate meetings and conferences for participants and sponsors.
• Coordinate with security, quality, contracts to organize support and monitor progress against deliverables.
• Facilitate and manage proposal development timelines with the Financial Manager; gather inputs for the final submission.
• Monitor the financial status of the program and detect deviations in plans.
• Understand technical work to convey methodology and impact; support kickoff reviews and SOW development.
