Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Program Financial Analyst to help manage the financial operations of the Force Projection Sector’s project portfolio.

You will prepare, review and analyze financial data, build monthly reports, and support contract and financial administration while collaborating with internal and external customers to promote financial success and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of financial and cost analysis experience.
• Self-starter with initiative and strong communication with customers.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with budgeting and forecasting.
• Active Secret level security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze financial data for FPS’s direct-sponsored projects.
• Build, update and submit monthly financial reports to sponsors and managers.
• Lead proposal development by identifying staffing and BOEs for compliant submissions.
• Oversee contract and financial administration and provide guidance on best practices.
• Participate in program reviews and address financial matters with sponsors.
