Job summary

U.S. Army MWR Fort Sam Houston seeks a Supervisory Program Manager within IMCOM DFMWR to coordinate the diverse FMWR operations and policy implementation at the installation level.

You will provide strategic guidance, oversee resource planning, and supervise staff to achieve program objectives end-to-end. Ideal candidates bring extensive program management experience in a military recreation environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with higher headquarters.

Qualifications

• Extensive specialized work experience in managing large programs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial and business principles and budgeting.
• Ability to obtain/maintain SECRET clearance.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with higher HQ and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning and management of resources (dollars and manpower).
• Advises on policy matters and develops program-wide frameworks.
• Directs staff and ensures completion of briefing materials and correspondence.
• Maintains liaison with higher headquarters and other agencies.
• Reviews reports and implements efficiency improvements.
• Performs full range of supervisory duties and assigns responsibilities.
