Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Program Manager in Houston to oversee complex government services programs. You will ensure operational efficiency, resource management, and strong client satisfaction while aligning with contractual and regulatory requirements.

The role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, managing large workforces (including unions where applicable), and maintaining financial discipline across programs with an emphasis on performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Program or Project Management experience.
• Experience managing large-scale operations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience directing and managing a large workforce, including unionized environments where applicable.
• Experience with financial management, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Knowledge of government property and material control practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead program execution to ensure achievement of contract requirements and performance objectives.
• Manage both unionized and non-unionized workforces, as applicable.
• Provide financial oversight and ensuring responsible stewardship of program resources.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and act as primary interface with client representatives and stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple functional support areas (e.g., Civil Engineering, Facilities, Logistics, Safety, Administrative Services, Medical Maintenance, Operations, Emergency Services).
• Adapt resources and approaches to evolving mission requirements to meet contract needs.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure deliverables and quality standards are met.
• Support business growth through proposals, RFIs, and strategic planning activities.
• Conduct performance reviews and evaluations to support reporting and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for operational enhancements, efficiencies, and growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and contract requirements.
